Man survives Kokoda ordeal
A 30-year-old British tourist was recovering in an Australian hospital tonight after
surviving alone for 22 days in scorching heat on Papua New Guinea's remote Kokoda Track.
Clive Sutton, from Bristol, was "abandoned" by his guide on Christmas Eve after starting
the track on December 21, the Australian High Commission (AHC) in Port Moresby said tonight.
Australian soldiers found Mr Sutton lying on a creek bed near the upper Goldie River late
