Vic: Three-year-old SARS suspect given all-clear

A three-year-old boy from Singapore admitted to Melbourne's Royal Children's Hospitalas a possible SARS victim has been released.

Department of Health spokesman BRAM ALEXANDER says the youngster has been dischargedfrom hospital after being given the all-clear.

Mr ALEXANDER says three children from Canada suspected of having SARS are expectedto be either released from the Monash Medical Centre or taken out of isolation early nextweek.

He says the children have undergone a battery of tests to eliminate other diseasesbut at the moment they are still classed as probable SARS cases.

Their parents have been given the all clear.
