NSW: Sacked textile workers enter creditor talks
Sacked Hunter Valley textiles workers remain locked in talks with company creditors,
trying to secure the remaining $7 million owed in workers' entitlements.
The National Textiles workers yesterday were promised a $4 million government-funded
rescue package, after weeks of campaigning for 100 per cent of their due entitlements.
The workers were left penniless when the Rutherford plant closed its doors in January,
leaving 342 people jobless and owed $11 million in wages, …
